Oscar W. Thomas

Oscar W. Thomas,54, a resident of Lima for 22 years and mechanic in the 
Allen Co. garage, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at his home in Ridgewood-addn 
after a month's illness.

He is survived by his wife, Goldie; seven sons, Lloyd, John  and Cecil at
home; George in the Navy; Raymond, Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Ind; Morris, Lima 
Route 6, and Lee, Belle Center, three daughters, Hazel at home; Ester; 
Columbus, and Frances, Orient; four brothers, Omer and Grant, Bellefontaine; 
Clarence, DeGraff, and Edward, Dayton, and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Burris,
Mrs. Francis Weeks and Mirty Jervis, Bellefontaine.

The body will remain at the Lewis Funeral home where services will be held 
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the memorial chapel. Rev Hal Reed will conduct the 
services and burial will be in Shawnee cemetery.
