Death of ED. VANATTA

ED. VANATTA died at the residence of his parents, on East Market street on 
last Sunday morning.  For several months past he has been confined to the 
house with the trouble that caused his death.  He was wounded in the head 
during the past winter, by a blow from a billiard cue, and after lingering 
through the summer passed over the river.  Mr. Vanatta was a young man who had 
a large circle of friends in Lima and had a warm heart for those who were in 
trouble or sorrow.  He was buried on Tuesday at Woodlawn.
