Smith vs. Louisa Smith, it was decreed that the defendant was the undivorced wife of Anthony Seeholzer at the time of her marriage to Smith, and the plaintiff was granted a divorce and custody of their child. Josephine Sartor was released from the bond that held her as the wife of Fred E. Sartor, on her showing three years of habitual intoxication and neglect of duty on the part of the defendant. The plaintiff was also granted custody of her child, and restored to her property interests. The parties to the suit have lived on East Market street. Duly Crites granted a divorce from Titus Crites, by Judge Richie. The case was not contested. It will be remembered Crites forged his father-in-law, Mr. East's name to some notes and skipped out with the proceeds last summer. He has not been heard from since. Mrs. Crites was given a divorce, the custody of their child, and possession of their little home at Kempton. May 1891 Malachi Saunders furnished evidence of adultery and gross neglect of duty on the part of his wife Mary, and he was granted a divorce at his cost. Alice Norman vs. George Norman; divorce. The plaintiff was granted a decree. July 1891 Mrs. Russell vs. Orlin J. Russell. Mrs. Russell prays for a divorce, the custody of her children, and a reasonable alimony. September 1891 Clara Pietschman filed suit against William Pietschman, her husband, asking that she be granted a divorce and the custody of their child, with alimony. Wilful absence and failure to support are the reasons assigned. They were married in 1886.
