Fisher vs. Leon Fisher. Mrs. Alice M. fisher this afternoon filed a petition in circuit court for a divorce from her husband, Leon. She alleges gross neglect saying that she has been compelled to obtain food and clothing for herself and child by her own labors. She asks that a divorce be granted, that she be given the custody of the child and both temporary and permanent alimony. February 26, 1908 Ella M. Lampher vs. Chester Lampher. Mrs. Ella Lampher, through her attorney R. L. Armstrong, filed a petition for a divorce from her husband Chester. She states that they were united in marriage in 1881 at Ada, Ohio, and that five children, one of which is now dead, was born to them. In the petition for divorce she alleges that her husband had grossly neglected her; that he had refused to work, and his idleness and dissipation, he had failed to properly provide for her and that she had been forced to earn her own living. She asks that the prayer of the petition be granted and that she be allowed both temporary and permanent alimony. March 23, 1908 Robert E. Laurence vs. Florence L. Laurence. Divorce granted on the grounds of infidelity. March 24, 1908 Flora Eggleston vs. Henry Eggleston. Mrs. Flora Eggleston, this afternoon, through her attorneys, Barr and Jackson, filed a petition for a divorce from her husband, Henry. She alleges that they have been married for the past fifteen years and one child has been born to them. She claims that he not only treated her cruelly but that he had failed to provide for her as he should. She asks that she be granted a divorce and that she receive the custody of the child. April 28, 1908 Emma Sanner vs. William Sanner. Through her attorneys, Welty and Downey, Mrs. Sanner filed a divorce petition. She alleges that she was married to the defendant twenty-four years ago and since that time has conducted herself as a true and loving wife, but that the man she had taken for her life partner had failed to live up to his marriage vows. As a result of the union eleven children were born to them and that owing to his failure to provide properly for them, she has been compelled to earn a living for them by taking in washing. She further alleges that he some time ago abandoned her and that now she did not know of his whereabouts. She asks that she be granted a decree, that she be allowed the custody of the minor children and that the dower right of the property be denied her husband. May 27, 1908 Kathryn Kelley vs. Patrick Kelley. Last evening Mrs. Kathryn Kelley filed a petition for a divorce from her husband, Patrick. In her petition she alleges that she was married to the defendant in 1901, and that two children had been born to them. She states that since their marriage she has always conducted herself as a true wife but that her husband has been guilty on many occasions of extreme cruelty and of gross neglect. She asks that a decree be granted and that she receive the custody of the children. July 8, 1908 Mary Gallant vs. Homer Gallant. Yesterday afternoon Mrs. Mary Gallant filed a petition for a divorce from her husband, Homer. She alleges that they were married in 1896 and that one child has been born to them, also that the defendant had been extremely cruel through their married life and that at one time he had threatened to take her life by producing a revolver and attempting to kill her. She asks that she be granted temporary alimony and the custody of the child. July 11, 1908 Barton Childs vs. Mattie Childs. Yesterday afternoon, Judge Quail granted Barton a divorce from his wife, Mattie, on the grounds of gross neglect. August 11, 1908 Rosa E. Gibson vs. Charles B. Gibson. Legal Notice. In the Court of Common Pleas of Allen county, State of Ohio. The defendant, Charles B. Gibson, who resides at Monroeville, Indiana, will take notice that the plaintiff on the 16th day of July, 1908, filed her certain petition in the court of common pleas of Allen county, Ohio, praying for divorce on the grounds of gross neglect of duty, restoration to maiden name, etc. The defendant is required to answer on or before the 27th day of August, 1908, or judgment will be taken against him. ROSA E. GIBSON, Russell L. Armstrong, Attorney for Plaintiff. September 22, 1908 Earl Ditzler vs. Rose Ditzler. Petition filed this morning charging extreme cruelty and gross neglect of duty. Anna Kanawl vs. Palmer Kanawl. Mrs. Kanawl, alleging that her husband has been guilty of extreme cruelty and neglect, and that he has failed to provide the necessities of life, is seeking divorce through the local courts, from her husband, Palmer Kanawl, whom she married February 25, 1883. They have four children. The wife claims that after her husband had deeded to her certain property in Robb's addition, that he has refused her right to record same. She now asks a decree and that her husband's interest in said property be barred, and she be given custody of the minor children. A temporary restraining order was granted barring husband from encumbering the property or in any way interfering with his wife's enjoyment of same, pending suit. October 26, 1908 Frances M. Standish vs. Albert Standish. Mrs. Standish has been granted a decree of divorce from her husband who has been willfully absent more than three years. November 17, 1908 Louis Long vs. George H. Long. The case was heard in Common Pleas Court in which the plaintiff, Mrs. Louise Long, asked for a divorce from her husband, George H. Long. Decree of divorce was granted as prayed for, the property rights having been settled out of court. December 20, 1908 Anna Oman vs. Charles Oman. Judge Becker granted a divorce decree to the plaintiff on the grounds of extreme cruelty. December 30, 1908 Anna Whitmire vs. John Whitmire, Judge granted a divorce on the grounds of extreme cruelty as alleged in the petition.
