It is located 1/4 of a mile south of US Highway 42, 1500 feet east of the intersection of US Highway 42 and Ohio State Highway 89 (at the rear of the property presently addressed as 425 Highway 42) in Polk, Ohio. The area is at a slightly higher elevation than the surrounding area so it is called Beacon Hill. This location was next to Philip Glessner's land (William Ruffcorn's Son-in-law) in Jackson Township, Ashland County. It has Ruffcorn, Kitchen, Garver, Tucker, and Glessner graves there. The cemetery is out in a field and no longer exists in practical terms. The cemetery was read in the 1930's by the DAR, who found 11 stones and again in the 80's or 90's with fewer stones. At some time the person who owned the property had horses, so he pulled up all the tombstones and stacked them against a fence.
