Death was the result of heart trouble. Mr. Mundorf was aged 79 years, 11 months and 28 days. He leaves a wife and several children. Funeral services at the Franks residence at 2 o’clock, standard, Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. Allen Miller of the COllege Brethren. Interment at Ashland Cemetery. ____________ Ashland Times Gazette, 12 Apr 1911, Pg. 4, Col. 4 William Mundorf, Sr., passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Frank, on Thomas court at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, the cause of his demise being heart trouble. He was born in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, April 4, 1831; died April 2, 1911, aged 79 years, 11 months and 28 days. He was married first to Hannah Curry about 1858 and five children were born to them, two of whom are still living, Mrs. W.L. Newcomer of Savannah, and Mrs. John Newcomer of Mansfield. He was married again to Miss Susan Finley in 1864. To them were born ten children, of whom four are deceased. Those living are William Mundorff, Jr., Andrew and Matthew Mundorff, Mrs. Sarah Lieghty, Mrs. Lida Franks; and Marie Mundorff, all living in Ashland but two. Mr. Mundorff came to Ohio about fifteen years ago and has lived in Ashland about twelve years. He made his home with his son, William on Phillips avenue, but died at the home of a daughter, whom he had gone to visit. He was a kind and loving father, true to his family, and was liked by all who knew him. He leaves a wife, six chldren, five sisters and grandchildren to mourn after him, but who thank the Lord for the consolation in knowing that their dear father, husband and brother is at rest with him. “A loving one from us has gone, A father kind and loved.
