Peter Newcomer, a highly esteemed pioneer citizen, died at his home on Sandusky
Street last Thursday 
evening aged eighty years.  Funeral services conducted by the Rev. D.W. Sprinkle, of
the United Brethren 
church at Beach City, were held at the family residence Sunday morning at 9 0’clock.
 Interment took place 
at Red Haw, the former residence of the deceased.
