Aged 60 years, 9 months and 19 days. Ella May Jordan was born near Loudonville, Ashland County, Ohio, on March 24, 1862. She was united in marriage to Cyrus in 1883, and this union was blessed with eight children. She united with the Loudonville First Baptist church under the pastorate of Rev. Robert Hughes in 1892. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and the following children: Mrs. H.H. Hammon of Butler; Harry and Arby Sellers of Mansfield, Mrs. H.H. Hunter, Mrs. G.W. Thomas, Charles, Eugene and Miss Luella Sellers of Loudonville. She is also survived by two sisters, six brothers and nine grandchildren, besides a host of friends. We miss you from our home, Dear Mother. We miss you from your place, Our home is dark without you, We miss the sunshine of your face. We miss your kind and willing hand, Your fond and earnest care. Home is not what it used to be, Since you’re not there. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Robert Hughes of Bucyrus, the text of his sermon being, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” - John 11-25. Interment was made in the Loudonville cemetery. Those from a distance who attended the obsequies were Mrs. John Miller of Mansfield; Mrs. Frank Green and Clarence Jordan and family of Wooster; Mrs. Blanche Jordan and daughter Mildred, Frank Jordan and family of Ashland; Thomas Jordanand family of Butler; Charles Cates and family and J.F.
