Seeking the HADLOCK family who moved from Cayuga Co. NY
between 1826-1835 to Ashtabula Co. Ohio,  Trumball Co Ohio and Crawford Co.
Pa.

The following 6 families are the children of James and Asa (nee?) HADLOCK.
James b. 1752 Fishkill,  NY md Asa in NY.  They lived in Dela Co. NY 1790, 
Tioga Co NY in 1800, and Cayuga Co NY 1810-1830 in 1835 they moved to
Crawford Co Pa to be near some of their children.

1)Ezra COLE md Mercy HADLOCK and came to Piedmont twp. Ashtabula Co
in 1826. Their known children & grandchildren bearing the COLE
surname Ahail, Ahira, Samuel, Permelia, and two daughters 
names unknown all born before 1820, the grandchildren are:
Elzada, Ezra, Roseanne, Hira, Sarah, Maria, Eliza, Jane.  

2)Peter & Sarah (ALEXANDER?) HADLOCK moved into Monroe
twp Ashtabula Co  by 1830 and then into Crawford Co. Pa by 1840. This is my
direct line. children: Amasa, Hiram, Louisa, Orville Lucious, Miriam
Theresa (my line), Mary Jane, Frances, Walter, and Hirah/Harvey.
Peter's family went to Iowa and Nebraska..descendants are in Illinois,
Kansas, Arizona, Wisconsin, California

3)Jeremiah & his wife (name unknown) HADLOCK  lived in Crawford and in
perhaps Ashtabula. known child Freeman....other children
possibly Amos, Sarah Ann, Josiah, Elizabeth, Mary, & William.
His second wife may have been Hannah who re-married to Henry Stoneham.

4) Elizabeth HADLOCK md a Mr SMITH..I have no information on them,
but I think that the Betsy SMITH listed in 1850 Hartsgrove twp. Ashtabula
Co may
be her. Would like to correspond with someone from this family.
She fits my HADLOCK scenario. Born in NY daug. 20 born NY (1830)
and daughter born in Ohio (1836) so she fits the travel of the HADLOCK
family.

5) Charlotte HADLOCK md a Mr FERRILL/FARREL  I have no info on them at this
time.
I don't know if they lived in Ohio or Pa. She was born in NY & md there by
1820.

6) Permelia HADLOCK md Nathan COOK and lived in Mecca, Trumball Co. Ohio.
She
died there. children of the COOK family were: James, Asa Jane, Nathan,
Lois, Betsy,
Joseph William, & Euphema.

HADLOCK descendents are: John Sylvester, Josiah C, Joseph Y, Julia, J.
Leander, Lorenzo J., 
Martin D, Harriet E, Sarah J, Ida B, Lucinda, Elmer L., Clarence B, Arvilla
S, Frank, Alice Loretta, 
Emma Matilda, Floyd F, Ina A, Eva, Flora May, Alton, Bertha Violet,
Adelbert, Harriet Evaline, 
Ida M, Carrie Elizabeth, John Edwin, Clara Ellen, James Nelson Freeman,
Sarah Jane, William Edgar,
Lucy E, Alva L, Katie N, Mysa/Myra, Charles, Fred A, Joseph, Joseph
Francis, Margaret V, Mildred L, 
Gracie, Glenn A, Pearle L, Benjamin F, Eunice Matilda, Mina...these lived
in and around Ashtabula
Co. Ohio and Crawford Co Pa
