Mrs. Martha J. Gee, wife of Josuha Gee, was born in Milton Township, Trumbull 
County, Ohio on June 23, 1817, and died at her late home in Kingsville, Ohio, 
Sept 21, 1891.
Mrs. Gee was a good woman, a king and obliging neighbor and an affectionate 
wife, and loving mother; and besides all this she was happily converted, 
united with the M. E. Church, and continued an earnest and devoted member 
until called to her heavenly reward. Her home was one in which the itinerant 
minister found a hearty and royal welcome. She will be greatly missed in the 
community, in the Church, and most of all in the home made vacant by death. 
She leaves to mourn their loss, her greatly bereaved husband, with whom she 
walked and toiled in happy union for over fifty-one years; one son and many 
relatives and friends.
Her funeral was held on Wednesday the 23rd, her Pastor the writer having 
charge, assisted by Rev. O. W. Holmes, one of her former Pastors, and Rev, J. 
E. Oates, of the Baptist Church.
