Mrs. Hall was born March 28, 1868 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Roger and Ellen (Adams) Griswold. She spent her early life in Ashtabula. After her marriage to the Rev. Francis J. Hall, Episcopal minister and teacher, she lived in Chicago and New York. After the death of the Rev. Mr. Hall in 1932 she returned to Ashtabula where she had made her home since. she was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Mary G. Hall, Ashtabula and Mrs. Roderic Pierce, Buckingham, Pa; a son, Leo G. Hall, Ashtabula; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Syler, Ashtabula and Mrs. R.W. Rogers, Miami, Fla; a brother, Roger W. Griswold, Ashtabula; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Church. Episcopal ministers in charge will be the Rev. John S. Cuthbert, rector, the Rev. Charles M. Vogt, and the Rev. Roderic Hall Pierce. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
