Obituary - Ruby Wheeler Holcomb, was born in Hampden, Geaugua Co., January 12, 
1840, and died at her home, Feb. 28, 1919, at the age of 70 years, 1 month, 16 
days. She was united in marriage to Henry W. Holcomb, April 10, 1857. To them 
were born eight children, Lee Holcomb of Chicago, Mrs. Nettie Keister, Mrs 
Martha Sargent of Ashtabula, Dillion Holcomb of Warren, Merton and Rubie at 
home. Her husband and two other children have preceded her to the Great 
Beyond. She was a most devoted, kind and loving wife and mother, of a quite 
and unassuming disposition, ever ready and alert to lend a helping hand in 
time of sickness or distress. Funeral services conducted by Rev. W. H. Baker 
were held at the family home, Sunday, March 2 at 2:30 p.m. after which the 
remains were laid to rest in the family lot in West Andover Cemetery. The many 
beauitful floral designs were eloquent testimonials of the loving esteem of 
friends. Friends and relatives attending from out of town, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. 
Keister and daughter Pauline; Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Sargent, Mr and Mrs L. L. 
Webster, Mr and Mrs E.S. Dunham, Mrs. Carl Stuck of Ashtabula; Mrs. H.H. 
Webster, Robert Herrick of Jefferson; Mrs Alta Ritter and Mrs. Roy Burgett, 
Lenox; Mr. and Mrs Dillion Holcomb, Mr. and Mrs Jay Webster and Emmor Webster 
of Warren; Lawrence Wight of Chillicothe, Mr. and Mrs. C.A.  Linn of Richmond.
