14. In Memory of Jona Higley Esq.. Who departed this life May 3rd , 1817, Aged
69 Years & 6 Month s. who Emigrated to this state in the year 1804 from the
state of Ct. [verse at bottom of stone] “Ye mortals who are standing by, You’r
born for dust as well as i. As I am now, so you must be, Prepare for death and
follow me. The age of man Is but a span.”

North of Windsor, Windsor Twp., Ashtabula Co., Ohio
