Outstanding in her fidelity, devotion & self-denial for the welfare of her home and all those who were dear to her, possessing a sublime faith in the divinity of justice, liberty & morality, she had a conviction that right is mighty & will prevail. Footnote: Ezra Barrows was one of the individuals that tried to get the turkey as the symbol for the United States instead of the Bald Eagle. Barrows, Ezra Doan, 1835 - 1924, A soldier in Co. K, 39th Reg. OVI, 1861 - 1865, Flatboatman, husbandman, conservationist; was son of Orange Barrows & Harriet Doan, grandson of George Barrows, Sr. & Eunice Culver. A descendant of A. Culver who came to America on the Mayflower. George Sr., was the first one of the family to come to the Ohio Valley late in the 18th century. sorry no image Wild Turkey.
