A, 4th WVA INF, Civil War, died Jan. 12, 1888 Luke Hardy was my 2ndgreat grandfather, born in England in 1826. He moved to Virginia (what is now West Virginia) in 1851. Worked as a coal miner in both England and in U.S.A. This headstone is located near the very back, to the left of the mail stairway/walkway.
