Gladys Atkinson

Nelsonville - Mrs. Gladys Atkinson, 74, former Nelsonville resident,
died at Neil Avenue Home for Guests in Columbus after an extended
Illness.

Born in Nelsonville, she was a daughter of the late Davis and Jane
Townsned Ayers.

She is survived by a son, Robert Atkinson: Rhode Island; two sisters
Mrs. Dora Calentine: Nelsonville and Mrs. Freda Varner, San Jose Calif.
Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by one son and 5
brothers.  Grave side services will be Wednesday, 1p.m. at Green Lawn
Cemetery, with Rev William Stutler Officiating.  Arrangements are by the
Johnson Funeral Home
