Mrs. Phoebe Goldsberry died at her home here at 11 o'clock Sunday night from infirmities to her advanced years. Short services will be held at the residence at 11 o'clock Tuesday. Following which the funeral cortege will go to Mt. Zion for Services and burial. Her husband was John V. Goldsberry, a Civil War veteran who died in 1883 the result of injuries received while in service. A son, David Goldsberry, died four weeks ago. Two sons and one daughter are left, Frank E. Goldsberry, Athens, Charles Goldsberry, Jerseyville nd Mrs. Eva Moler of near Jerseyville. Also one aged brother Rev. O. Lovett of near Racine.
