He was born in Athens County. Mr. Oliver was a retired coal miner and amember of the Glouster Methodist Church and Glouster Lodge No. 607, F&AM. Surviving are his son, Walter; four grandchildren. His wife, Rosa, died in 1942. Also preceding him in death were seven brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Van Fossen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Imhoff officiating. Burial will be in the Glouster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 0 p,m. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
