Mrs. Mildred Powell, Nelsonville - Mrs. Mildred Marie Powell, 67, of 746 
Jackson St., died Wednesday in Mount St. Mary Hospital where she had been 
admitted Sunday. Born in Hocking County she was a daughter of the late John and 
Hattie Belle Glenn Warren. She was a member of the Nelsonville Pilgrim Holiness 
Church. Surviving are her husband Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. Harriet Chalfan 
of Columbus; Mrs. Bonnie O'Nail and Mrs. Betty Hook, both of Nelsonville; and 
Mrs. Vera Kimble of Lancaster; two sons, Billy Joe of Nelsonville Route 1 and 
James Richard of Nelsonville; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A 
daughter, Ruth Virgene, preceeded her in death. Services will be Sunday at 1 
P.M. at the Nelsonville Pilgrim Holiness Church, with the Rev. John Minsker 
officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friemds may call at the 
family home at anytime. Arrangements were completed by the Johnson Funeral Home.
