Know Ye That Jacob Weiler a Private, of Captain Chas Neipp Company C
37th Regiment of Ohio Volunteer Infantry, who was enrolled on the fourth 
day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three 
years during the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United 
States, this eleventh day of August 1862, at Columbus, Ohio by reason of 
Surgeons Certificate and General Order No. 36, of 1862.

(No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist*)

Said Jacob Weiler was born in Wurtemburg in the State of Germany is 24 
years of age 5 feet 4-5/8 inches high, Fair complexion, Grey eyes, Dark 
hair, and by occupation when enrolled a Farmer.

Given at Columbus Ohio this Eleventh day of August 1862.
