Dr. Dale Kile of St. Marys Auglaize County Coroner ruled death from a broken neck. Time of death was not able to be de- termined. The accident was discovered by Douglas Hock at 6:15 a.m. as he was returning home from work in Spencerville. The accident caused the bridge to lean which resulted in Hook's investigation. Damage to the bridge has been estimated to exceed $65,- 000 and the Main Street Road will probably he closed between six months and a year. Mr. Harruff was employed at the Randall Graphite Corp, in Lima. His wife Evelyn resides in Spencerville and his father Dale Harruff is a rural mail carrier for the Spencerville Post Office.
