The firsg grand jury consisted of Notley hayes, Patrick White, John King, Anthony Rizer, Joshua M. Sherry, Thomas Duffield, Wm Bush, George Garnett, Peter Buzzard, John WAll, Abraham Emerine, Richard Hardesty, John Lamb, Robert Giffin, Henry Leep, Samuel Barnes, Andres Miller and Archibald Smith...Charles Hammond was chosed to act as prosecutor. 2 roads were ordered by this court, under the supervision of Jacob Coleman, surveyor. Jacob Repshire, David Lockwood and Samuel Dille were appointed to purchase material for the Court House.
