The only daughter (Miss Camsie) of our worthy friend, Samuel Starbuck, of Somerton, was married on Wednesday of last week, to Mr. G.P. Rhinehart, of Mansfield, O. The occasion was a peculiarly happy one. Mr. Detwiler, Miss Allie Shiveley; W.T. Evans, Miss Nona Hogue; W.H. Coffland, Miss Ella Whitaker; Enfield Hogue, Miss Nolia Bradshaw, acted as attendants. The wedding party was a very select one, and the entertainment was of the highest order. The bridal party left in the afternoon for an Eastern tour. A Brilliant Wedding. – In the Pittsburgh Leader of Friday, we find the following item which will be of interest to many of our readers, as one of the parties to the transaction is well known in this vicinity, and is the son of our good friend Thomas Duff, Esq., who resides four miles north of this place: An occasion of much pleasure and genuine enjoyment to a large circle of friends of the happy principals come off at the residence of Colonel Wm. Espy, in Scott township, last night. It was the marriage of Miss Anna L., one of the younger daughters of Col. Espy, to Rev. D.A. duff, of the U.P. church, Stewart-station. Half-past eight o’clock was the time fixed for the ceremony, and at that hour the spacious mansion was thronged with invited guests, about a hundred and fifty having assembled, representing the surrounding country as well as both Pittsburgh and Allegheny. (description of wedding continues at length) Boyd Dysart, son of John Dysart, Wheeling township, was lately married to a Hawk-eye lady by the name of Simpson, and the happy couple are now visiting friends and relatives near here. We believe Mr. Dysart’s permanent residence is near Washington, Iowa. He is quite young, and this is his second wife. His first, was a daughter of Gillespie Moore, deceased, north of this place.
