Darason, Miss S. Amelia Thompson, and rev. Wm. M.K. Lamsdin, all of the city of Wheeling. Our friends are safely launched in matrimony’s sea and we wish them, with all our heart, a prosperous voyage, and a calm and peaceful haven at the end. Long may they live and find troops of friends in their new, far off, home. In Martinsville Ohio, at the residence of Dr. S.B. West, on the 28th ult., by Rev. Well, the star of Hymen (if there is such a star) seems to be in the ascendant. It’s all right however, and we hope that as our friends, are drifted o’er life’s stormy main, wherever they see squalls, and little white caps rising (premonitory symptoms of a storm) they will escape by “doubling the cape,” and taking a smack, keep cut of the way of the storm.
