Emmett Diehl
Emmett Diehl, 65 native of Italy, died this morning at 7:05 in his home at 
4260 Franklin St., Bellaire, following a sickness of five years. His condition 
has been serious for the past three years. The body was removed to the Dean 
funeral home pending services.

Mr. Diehl was born in Italy Aug. 8, 1883, and had resided in Bellaire for the 
past 42 years. He formerly was employed as a steward at Italian-American 
Citizens Club in Bellaire. He attended St. Michael's Church and was a member 
of the IAC.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Laura Trolley Diehl; three sons, Louis Akron, 
Alfred Bellaire, and Paul Martins Ferry; eight daughters, Mrs. Stella Lewis, 
and Mrs. Genevieve Dunning, Shadyside, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Martins Ferry, 
Mrs. Luna Armstrong, Los Angeles, Mrs. Cecelia Maroon, Bridgeport, Mrs. 
Virginia Miller, Bellaire, Misses Gloria and Betty, at home; 15 grandchildren 
and two great grandchildren.
