Died in Morristown, Belmont County, O., on the 4th inst., Mrs. Eliza C., consort of
Mr. Joseph Henderson, in the 54th year of her age. The deceased had been for nearly
thirty years, a consistent member of the Old School Presbyterian Church. She united
first with the Fourth Presbyterian church, Washington City; then under the pastoral
care of Rev. Mr. Noble, and continued a member of that church about ten years after
the Rev. John C. Smith became the pastor. For nearly seventeen years she had resided
in Ohio, and for the last ten years she had lived in this place. About three weeks
before her death, she was attacked with inflammatory rheumatism. During her illness
she was a great sufferer; but she bore her pains with Christian resignation and
patience...
