Kemp. 83, of Bethesda, died Tuesday (May 4, 2004) at Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 30, 1921, in Beallsville, daughter of the late Harry and Leota Jarrett Perkins. Mrs. Kemp was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Chester W. Perkins. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Hollis Kemp; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Lois) Buckley of Flushing and Mrs. Jerry (Lova) Ebbert of St. Clairsville; a son, Lowell Kemp of Bethesda; five grandchildren, Chris and Scott Buckley, Matthew, Jonathan and Aaron Ebbert; a great-grandson; and a brother, Clarence V. Perkins of Beallsville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Bethesda where services will be 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Jane Betts officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
