William A. Makofsky Dies, Funeral Services To Be Friday
  William A. Makofsky, 56, of Birsh St., West Bellaire, Vice president of the 
Security Trust Company of Wheeling, died this morning at 9:30 in the City 
Hospital where he had been a patient five weeks. Mr. Makofsky had been in ill 
health the past several years.
  He was born in Germany, March 30, 1905, and had been associated with the 
Security Turst Company 25 years. He was a member of the Bellaire Presbyterian 
Church, Loyal Order of Moose, and the Bellaire Elks Lodge.
  Survivors are his widow, Helen Kennedy Makofsky; four children, Chief Radio 
Technician William Makofsky of the U.S. Navy stationed at Panama, Mrs. Beverly 
Hess, Willow Grove, Mrs. Kathryn Koslowski, Shadyside, and Robert of the home, 
a brother, Emil Makofsky, Cleveland and seven grandchildren.
  Friends may call at the Walter C. Bauknecht and Son Funeral HOme, Bellaire. 
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m.
