Weisgarber Oris M. Weisgarber, of Smithfield St., Dillonvale, and a retired engineer for the Nickel Plate Railroad, died Monday at 3 a.m. at the University Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Massilion on March 30, 1893, a son of Fred and Ida Mae Stoner Weisgarber. He resided at Dillonvale since 1938, moving there from Massilion. Mr. Weisgarber was a member of the Dillonvale Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Div. 470 of Dillionvale. He was married to Tillie Balvin of Tiltonsville, who survives with two daughters and a son in Massilion; one step-daughter, Mrs. Donald Cliff of Eau Claire, Wis.; one step-on, Rex Powley of Dillonvale; four brothers, Forrest of Navarre, Perry, John and Warren of Massilion; nine grandchildren. Friends are received at the Charles A Wilson Funeral Home, Dillonvale, where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3. Rev. Charles Taylor of the Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove. Additional Comments: I am not related to this individual.
