Emmett Diehl Emmett Diehl, 65, native of Italy, died this morning at 7:05 in his home at 4260 Franklin st., Bellaire, following an Illness of five years. His condition had been serious for the past three years. The body was removed to the Dean funeral home pending service. Mr. Diehl was born in Italy on Aug. 8, 1883, and had resided in Bellaire for the past 42 years. He formerly was employed as a stew- ard at Italian-American Citizens club in Bellaire. He attended St. Michael's church and was a mem- ber of the IAC. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alura Trolley Diehl; three sons, Louis, Akron, Alfred, Bellaire, and Paul, Martins Ferry; eight daugh- ters, Mrs. Stella Lewis and Mrs. Genevieve Dunning, Shadyside, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Martins Ferry, Mrs. Luna Armstrong, Los Angeles, Mrs. Cecelia Maroon, Bridgeport, Mrs. Virginia Miller, Bellaire, Misses Gloria and Betty, at home; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
