This is the tomb-stone of Joseph Moore who probably immigrated from Ireland 
(possibly county Cork). His death date is noted as 25 April 1859, in his 94th 
year of his life, making him born c. 1766, elsewhere noted as born 1770/71.

Additional Comments:
The Moore farm at Scotch Ridge, Belmont County, Ohio, still exists and is owned 
by Moore descendants.  Joseph married Genet Alexander dau of James II and his 
second wife Margaret Clark.  Elsewhere, says he married Mary Ann Alexander.
