All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Ronald Reid rreid21@cox.net August 11, 2012, 12:30 pm Source: Ohio, Probate Records, 1790-1967, Belmont Wills, Vol. A., Page 139 Written: September 25, 1814 The Last Will & testament of William Wilson late Deceased In the Name of god Amen, I William Wilson of Belmont County in the state of Ohio Considering the uncertainty of this Mortal life and being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be Almighty god for the same, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner & form following, that is to say – First I give and Bequeath unto my beloved wife Deborah Wilson one third part of my landed property during her life also one third of all my Goods & chattels to be at her disposal – I also give and Bequeath unto my sons Nicholas William Ephearim & John the sum of four hundred dollars to be laid out in Land and divided equally between them – I also give and bequeath unto my daughters Elizabeth Ann Sarah Susannah & Deborah each one Horse & Saddle & the sum of thirty Dollars to be paid them by my sons out of what I leave them when my said daughters arrive at the age of Eighteen years – I also give and bequeath unto my said four sons the messauge & Tenement I now live on situated in Belmont County aforesaid in Richland Township and Containing one hundred and sixtysix acres to be equally divided between them share and share alike – or in case my Executors may judge most for the advantage of my said sons to sell said Plantation and with the money arising from the sale thereof to purchase a larger Tract of Land which is to be divided equally between them – And lastly I give & bequeath unto my said sons the other two thirds of my Goods & Chattles not above Bequeathed to be equally divided between them – I do hereby appoint my beloved wife Deborah Wilson and amy son Nicholas Wilson to be my Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills by me made in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Fourteen.
