Wilson Deceased Know all men by these presents that I William C. Wilson of Belmont county and State of Ohio Considering the uncertainty of the duration of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following Viz. First I will that my just debts be paid out of my estate Second I lend unto my beloved wife Esther Wilson in lieu of her right of dower and while she remains my widow the premises on which we now reside to occupy and enjoy as her own together with my five share in the 1st National Bank of Barnesville and the further sum of Five Hundred dollars in cash Third After the payment of my debts I will that the remainder of my personal property of every description shall remain in the hands of my said wife for her own Comfort and support and the raising of our children and the payment of their education giving her full power to sell and dispose of any part thereof as in her judgment will be for the benefit of my estate. Fourth It is also my will and desire that my said wife shall have discretionary power to make such advancements to my children as they become of age that the Condition of my estate may justify. Fifth. In case of a second marriage of my wife thereby ceasing to be may widow I will to her in her own right the sum of One thousand dollars out of my estate and any and all other property both real and personal or the proceeds thereof I wish invested in such manner as my executors shall judge will most advance the interest of my estate And I further give my executors full power to sell and dispose of my real estate in such manner as they may think advisable and at such time as circumstance may render a sale necessary or expeditious. Sixth I give and bequeath to my five children namely Charles Francis Levi F Edwin and Mary I all the remainder of my estate share and share alike making allowance for any advancements that may have been made. And it is further my will and desire that no Inventory appraisment or public sale shall be made of my effects while my wife occupies and has control of the same as hereinbefore provided. Seventh. In case a deed of Conveyance shall not have been executed to George Tatum for the real estate of which I came into possession by the provisions of the last will and testament of my father Israel Wilson and for which an article of agreement was entered into with the said George Tatum on the third of the present month. I hereby direct and authorize my executors to execute said deed of Conveyance when the terms and stipulations of the article shall be fulfilled. Eight I constitute and appoint my wife Esther Wilson executrix and Asa Garretson executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifth day of the Second month 1866. William C. Wilson The foregoing was acknowledged by William C. Wilson to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence have set our names as witnesses thereto J.W.
