Witnesseth that the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of seventy five dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and forever acquit and discharge him the said Robert Alexander his heirs executors and administrators have granted bargained sold aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto him the said Robert Alexander his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Brown and State of Ohio on the waters of White Oak creek it being part of an entry of one thousand acres entered in the name of Thomas Blackwell and patented in the name of William Bryan No. 2062 and bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at a gum North east corner to the original survey thence S 22-2/6 degrees W 98 poles to a Stone and Jack oak Saplin in the original line thence S 67 degrees E 80 poles to three Maples and hickory south East corner to Matthew Kerns? then N 23 degrees E 98 poles to three white oaks in the original line thence with the same N 67 degrees W 88 poles to the Beginning containing fifty two acres be the same more or less -- together with all improvements water courses profits and appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders and profits thereof and all the right title claim interest or demand of him the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife his heirs and all and singular the premises and every part and parcel thereof with every of the appurtenances unto the said Robert Alexander his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Robert Alexander his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Andrew Alexander and senior and Nancy his wife for themselves their heirs executors and administrators doth Covenant promise and agree to and with the said Robert Alexander his heirs and assigns by these presents that the premises before described now are and forever hereafter shall remain free of and from all former gifts grants bargains sales dowers right and title of dower Judgments executions titles troubles charges and incumbrances whatsoever done or suffered to be done by them the said Andrew Alexander Sen'r. and Nancy his wife and the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife their heirs all and singular the premises hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said Robert Alexander his heirs and assigns against them the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife their heirs and all and every other person or persons whatsoever doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year first above written. Andrew Alexander (Seal) Nancy (her + mark) Alexander (Seal) Signed Sealed and acknowledged in the presence of John Wright Samuel Brackenridge State of Ohio, Brown County SS Before me Robert Brackenridge one of the Associate Judges in and for the county aforesaid Andrew Alexander Sen'r. and acknowledged the within signing and sealing to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned and at the same time came Nancy Alexander wife of the said Andrew & after being made fully acquainted with the contents of the within Deed and being examined separate and apart from her said husband she declared that she signed and sealed the same freely and of her own accord without the compultion of her said husband and is willing the same shall be made of record.
