Witnesseth that the said Andrew Alexander Senior and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and forever acquit and discharge him the said Mathias Kiers his heirs executors and administrators have granted bargained sold aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto him the said Mathias Kiers his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Brown and State of Ohio on the waters of White Oak creek it being part of an entry of one thousand acres entered in the name of Thomas Blackwell and patented in the name of William Bryan No. 1062 and bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at four hickories and Maple trees in the center of the west end of original survey thence South Sixty nine degrees East 77 poles to a Gum hickory & white oak North East corner to Mathew Kiers lot, thence North twenty three degrees East 108 poles to three Maples & Hickory thence North Sixty seven degrees west 83 poles to a Stone and Jack oak saplin in the original line and South west corner to Robert Alexander, thence South twenty two Degrees & 2/6 West 108 poles to the beginning containing fifty four acres be the same more or less -- together with all improvements water courses profits and appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders and profits thereof and all the right title claim interest or demand of them the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife of in and to the same. To have and to hold the lands hereby conveyed with all and singular the premises and every part and parcel thereof with every of the appurtenances unto the said Mathias Kiers his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Mathias Kiers his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife for themselves their heirs executors and administrators doth covenant promise and agree to and with the said Mathias Kiers his heirs and assigns by these presents that the premises before described now are and forever hereafter shall remain free of and from all other gifts grants bargains sales dowers right and title of dower Judgments executions titles troubles charges and incumbrances whatsoever done or suffered to be done by them the said Andrew Alexander Sen'r. and Nancy his wife and the said Andrew Alexander and Nancy his wife his heirs all and singular the premises hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said Mathias Kiers his heirs and assigns against them the said Andrew Alexander Sen'r. and Nancy his wife their heirs and all and every other person or persons whatsoever doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year first above written. Andrew Alexander (Seal) Nancy (her + mark) Alexander (Seal) Signed Sealed and acknowledged in the presence of Samuel Brackenridge John Wright State of Ohio, Brown County SS Before me Robert Brackenridge one of the Associate Judges in and for the county aforesaid came personally the within named Andrew Alexander Sen'r. and acknowledged the within signing and sealing to be his act and Deed for the purposes therein mentioned and at the same time came Nancy Alexander wife of the said Andrew and after being made fully acquainted with the within Deed of Conveyance and being examined separate and apart from her said husband she declared that she signed and sealed the same freely and of her own accord without the compultion of her said husband and is willing the same shall be admitted to record.
