Witnesseth that the said David Harbison Senior for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars current money of the United States of America to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and forever acquit and forever discharge him the said Gabriel Alexander his heirs executors and Administrators have granted bargained sold aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien and confirm unto the said Gabriel Alexander his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Brown and State of Ohio on the waters of the west fork of Brush creek it being part of survey of 1000 Acres made in the name of Jacob Coleman and bounded and described as follows, to wit, Beginning at a Stake near a hickory stump corner to John Alexander and running with his line thence North 66 degrees west 23 poles to a hickory thence South 23 degrees 155 poles to three Dogwoods saplings in a line of original survey on the south side of a Drain, thence North 23 degrees East 90 poles to a hickory, thence south 66 degrees East 133 poles to an Ash in a line of John Alexander on the east side of a branch thence with said Alexander line south 23 degrees west 76 poles to the Begining, containing one hundred acres be the same more or less together premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders and profits and appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the right title claim interest or demand of him the s'd. David Harbison of in and to the same to have and to hold the lands hereby conveyed with all and singular the premises and every part and parcel thereof with every of the appurtenances unto the said Gabriel Alexander his heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the s'd. Gabriel Alexander his heirs and assigns, and the said David Harbison for himself his heirs executors and administrators do covenant and agree to and with the said Gabriel Alexander his heirs and assigns by these presents that the premises herein before described now are and forever hereafter shall remain free from all former and other gifts, grants bargains sales Dowers right and title of dower Judgements Executions, titles troubles charges and incumbrances whatsoever done or suffered to be done by him the said David Harbison and the said David Harbison his heirs all and singular the premises hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the s'd. Gabriel Alexander his heirs & assigns against the claim or claims of all and every other person or persons doth and will forever warrant and defend. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and Year first above writen.
