DeHass, son of Joseph and Sarah DeHass, was born April 2, 1881near Hillsboro, Ohio and entered into eternal rest June 6, 1958 at the ageof 77 years, 2 months and 6 days.He was united in marriage to Nannie Miller June 19, 1905. She precededhim in death in October, 1918. To this union was born five sons--Dorsey,deceased, Harry of Cincinnati, Faye of Hillsboro, Warren of Dayton, Frankof Greenfield and two daughters, Mrs. Irene Scott of Georgetown and Mrs.Mammie McIntosh of Cincinnati.He was united in marriage to Margaret Smith March 24, 1938.Besides his wife and children, he leaves to mourn his loss, one brother,John DeHass of Buford, one half brother, Robert Pence of Cincinnati, tengrandchildren, six great grandchildren and many friends and relatives.Two other great grandchildren preceded him in death.God saw that you were sufferingAnd the hill was hard to climb.He closed your weary eyelids,And whispered 'peace be thine'.
