Joseph Webb to Obadiah D. Webb
Received & Recorded March 23, 1837

This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of August in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six between Joseph
Webb of the county of Butler and State of Ohio of the one part and Obadiah
D. Webb of the same place of the other part  Witnesseth that the said 
Joseph Webb for and in consideration of the sum of Three Thousand
Dollars lawful money of the United States to him in hand well and
truly paid by the said Obadiah D. Webb the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed
an confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell convey
and confirm unto the said Obadiah D. Webb his heirs and assigns
all and singular the following described lot tract or parcel of land
to wit Lying and being in the Township of Wayne County and
State aforesaid the same being the north east quarter of section
numbered Eleven in Township Numbered Three in Range Number=
ed Three East of the meridian line drawn from the mouth of the
great Miami river   And all the estate right title interest claim
and demand of the said Joseph Webb of in and to the said prem=
esis with all and singular the right members privileges and appur
tenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and
the rent issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the said
premises with the appurtenances to the only proper use benefit and
behoof of the said Obadiah D. Webb his heirs and assigns forever
and the said Joseph Webb his heirs executors and administrators doth
covenant and grant unto and with the said Obadiah D. Webb his 
heirs executors administrators and assigns that he is the true and
lawful owner of the premises hereby granted and hath good right
full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in
manner and form aforesaid  And further that he the said Joseph 
Webb his heirs executors and administrators will Warrant and
forever defend the aforesaid premises with their appurtenances and
every part and parcel thereof unto the said Obadiah D. WEbb his heirs
and assigns against all persons claiming or to claim by from or under
him them or any of them or by from or under any other person or persons
whomsoever  In Witness whereof the said Joseph Webb hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the day and year above written

Before me John K. Wilson one of the Justices of the pearce within and
for the county aforesaid personally came Joseph Webb the above named
grantor and acknowledged the above Deed of conveyance to be his vol=
untary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein contained
In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the
seventeenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and thirty six
