He applied 20 Jul. 1819 in Butler Co., OH aged 56. He married 10 Feb. 1785 Phebe GRIMES and he died 4 Apr. 1832 in Shelby Co., IN. In 1820 he had children: Hannah age 13, John age 10 James age 7. Phebe filed for widow pension W9706 on 10 Aug. 1840 in Shelby Co., IN at age 72. She lived with son James and she had 9 children. The oldest was Richard b. 11 Aug. 1787. Benjamin and Phebe lived in Scott, Fleming & Henry Counties, KY, Butler Co., OH, Hamilton Co., OH then to Dearborn Co., IN and then Shelby Co., IN
