Roll, Joseph C. Koons, and Gus Kienzel are locked up at police headquarters on the charge of assault with intent to kill. The victim of the assault is Andrew Gardner, a son of Henry Gardner, the vault cleaner. Just what the trouble was about is not definitely know, but the result is that Gardner received three deep cuts in the head, with some instrument, probably a broken dish and one deep cut well into the skull over the right ear. The affair was reported to the police with the result that about 10:10 p.m., Roll, Koons and Kienzel were arrested by Officers McMeehan and Ruble. The prisoners are held pending a report from Dr. W.C. Huston, who attended Gardner.
