Hamilton Democrat November 17, 1900
Gus Kinzel, Major Roll and Joe Kunes, arrested for assault, with intent to 
kill Henry [sic] Gardner, at John Frey's saloon last Sunday evening, were to 
have had a preliminary hearing before Mayor Rosch this morning, but owing to 
the fact that Gardner's physician advised against him leaving the house, their 
cases were continued until next Saturday. Gardner's condition is much improved.
