OLDEST CITIZEN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Martha Conklin Died Wednesday

At The Age Of 105 Years

Perhaps the oldest citizen of Butler county passed away when death
claimed Mrs. Martha Conklin, Wednesday afternoon at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Jane Rice of Sevenmile pike.

At the time of her death Mrs. Conklin had reached the age of 105 years,
after a life spent largely in Butler county.

She left to mourn her death, five children, Mrs. Rebecca Rice, Kate 
Jackson, John, Ezra and Louis Conklin.

Funeral services will take place Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from 
the Sevenmile church. the remains will be laid to rest in the Oxford 
cemetery.
