Huff William F. Huff, 80, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2002, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 27, 1921, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late William and Hattie May (Irwin) Huff. On March 20, 1942, in Covington, Ky., he married Mabel Valdean Bach, who preceded him in death on July 31, 1985. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served on the board of trustees and was head usher for 20 years. He was also a World War II Air Force veteran. William retired from Pease Woodwork Co. in 1983. He is survived by his stepson, Harold L. Back of Middletown; grandchildren Denise Anderson, and her husband, Mike, of Hamilton, Sonya Banfield, and her husband, Larry, of Eaton, Karen Sue Hansford, and her husband, Bill, of Wilmington, and Bill Back, and his wife, Susan of Pennsylvania; four great-grandchildren; sister Helen Pennington, and her husband, Edward, of Columbus; a nephew, Bob Haddix, and his wife, Ellen; a dear companion, Kate Jones, and her family; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Dunlap, and a stepdaughter, Betty Lou Cornell. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" St., Hamilton, with the Rev. Mark Wurzelbacher officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
