                              PETER SCHUNK

   Funeral services for Peter Schunk, 85, of 52 South Seventh street, will be 
held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hearing-Bryan-Delong Funeral Home 
with Rev. Walter A. Pohl, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church, officiating.  
Burial will be in Greenwood.  The body will remain at the funeral home.
   Mr. Schunk died Saturday morning at Bethesda hospital following a short 
illness.
   A native of Hamilton, Ohio he has spent the greater part of his life in 
this city and was a retired baker.
   He was amember of the German Lutheran church in Hamilton, but attended the 
Trinity Lutheran church here.
   Surviving are a son Richard of Federal Avenue; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy 
Powell of the home., Mrs. Helen Stevens of 416 LaSalle Street, Mrs. Gobel of 
the YMCA and Mrs. Nannnie FOx of Braddock, PA; nine grandchildren and 13 great-
grandchildren.
