Second - I give and devise the house and lot I now live in to my wife Ann Perdue her life time - and at her death to be sold and one hundred given to each of my two youngest daughters Lucretia M. and Matilda if they shall survive her - Third - I give and devise to my wife aforesaid the use of lot No. 3 in Carroll Co. with all its privileges and appertanences therewith belonging for the term of three years. Fourth - I give and devise to Elizabeth Clark my step daughter a Bed and Bedding. Fifth - it is my wish that at the death of my wife, that the residue of my property shall be sold and divided as follows; viz, to my daughter Susannah one hundred dollars and the balance to be equally divided among my children by my former wife. Sixth - I give and devise to my step daughter Elizabeth Clark one set of chares. Seventh - I give and devise to my wife aforesaid use of all unsold personal property for the term of three years, at the end of which term it is my will that this together with lot No. 3 aforesaid shall be sold and divide equally among all my children - In testimony I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixth day of July 1847.
