ADAMS, Milva (Blanton) 81, of Mechanicsburg was taken into the arms of the 
Lord Monday, December 29, 2008 in McAuley Center of Urbana. She was born 
February 25, 1927 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of Hobert & 
Stella (Pennington) Blanton. She is survived by her sons, Hobert (Bev) Adams 
of Urbana, Roger (Jeanne) Adams of Plain City; daughters, Stella (Robert) 
Boggs of Springfield, Janet (Bob) Wright of Grand Island, Florida; 
grandchildren, Holly (Eric) Hockemeyer, Hobert "Hoby" (Jessica) Adams, Angela 
(Eric) Brockman, Amy (Mike) Boggs, Scott (Tera) Adams, Trinity (Tim) Adams, 
Michelle Lowe, Traci Gray, Todd (Erin) Gray, Jason (Lindsey) Yoder, Chad 
(Priscilla) Wright; sisters, Mabel Spencer, Marie Spradlin, Mavis Burton, Meda 
(Paul) Reese, Mamie Adkins; brothers, Calvin, Curtis, Carmine (Betty), and 
Calahan (Ella) Blanton; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and 
nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fedroe. A 
gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, January 
2, 2009 at SKILLMAN, MCDONALD, & VERNON Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg. The 
funeral will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Alder 
Chapel United Baptist Church in West Jefferson. She will be laid to rest at 
Oakdale Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Polsley and the staff 
at Mercy McAuley Center for their loving care.
