Gordon Lewis Adkins passed away October 19, 2011 at Kenedy Manor in Kenedy 
Texas. He was born on August 27, 1939 in Urbana Ohio and was a 1957 graduate 
of Urbana High School. He is survived by a son Jeff Adkins of Chandler 
Arizona, a sister Martha Fowler of Dayton Ohio, two grandchildren and several 
great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Lucille, 
a daughter, Kim Casanova of San Antonio Texas, brothers, Robert and Joseph of 
Urbana and a sister Marylou of Springfield. In lieu of flowers, the family 
would appreciate a donation be made to your local Parkinson’s Disease 
Association in Gordon’s name. Private services to be held by the family at Oak 
Dale Cemetery in Urbana.
