Mrs Hattie Edith ANDERSON, 80, of the Bancroft Hotel, died at 4 am Thursday in 
Mercy Hospital following two weeks of illness. She was born in New Moorefield, 
Oct 30, 1885, the daughter of William and Edith ODELL HAYMAN. She was the 
widow of Edward ANDERSON who died in Springfield, 1950. She had resided in 
Springfield almost all of her life. Survivors include one son, Clarence 
ANDERSON of Springfield; one granddaughter Mrs Barbara LONGO of Urbana; two 
great grandchildren; two brothers Floyd and Owen HAYMAN of Springfield. Her 
body was taken to the Richards Memorial Home where friends may call from 7 pm 
Thursday until time of services at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home with the 
Rev James Urquhart, pastor of the Oakland Presbyterian Church officiating. 
Burial will be in the Oak Dale Cemetery,
