Mrs. Charlotte Apple, 78, of Piqua, a native of Champaign County, died Thursday at
1
at 1 a.m. in Piqua Memorial Hospital following an illness of two days.  She had
been
been a patient in the hospital one day.
She was born March 30, 1889, a daughter of Arthur and Etta Leonard Jordan.
She attended school in Champaign County and was a member of St. Paul's United Ch
Church of Christ in Piqua.  She resided in Piqua for 40 years.  Her husband, Wa
Walter Apple, preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1954.
Survivors are two sons, a daughter, seven grandchildren, four great g
grandchildren, a brother, and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Cron Funeral Home in P
Piqua.  Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Millerstown
