Mary Parshall Apple,77, died Monday in Mercy Memorial Hospital.
A teacher in the St. Paris school system for a number of years, she also gave 
private piano lessons.  She was a member of the St. Paris Baptist Church.
Mrs Apple was born Sep. 23, 1891, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Frank and 
Olive Cory Parshall.  She and her husband Ray had been married 52 years this 
month.

obit has birth year as 1891 however cemetery marker has birth year as 1898
